At the Woodlands Church of Christ, we praise God in song, study the Lord's will, have a share in Communion, in meeting the needs of the Lord's work and in prayer. We do this because not only has the Lord asked it of us but because "This is the day which the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24).
Jesus assured a woman in Samaria that indeed the time under His reign would see true worshippers everywhere worshipping in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). And so, when you visit with us, you will find vibrant, heart felt worship in song, prayer and preaching. It will be worship in spirit. And if what we do is out of harmony with the truth of God you would be our greatest friend by helping us worship in truth. We aim to worship in truth, God's truth (John 17:17).
As a visitor, we will not embarrass you or call on you. You will not be asked to give money. All we will ask of you is to accept a Visitor's Welcome Folder and fill out a visitor card for our records. However, we hope you will feel welcome to pray with us, to sing praise to our God and to open your Bible and study together with us. Please feel free to ask questions after services are over.
